The Space Marine Showcase – The Finished Product

Over at Land O Misfit Toys, Skabradisdead is frantically collecting marines from gamers all over the globe.

After some not so gentle prompting, I FINALLY picked up the paintbrush and various coloured pigments and finished the single marine that I have been given.

I chose Mantis Warriors, as you can see above. I think I have done a pretty good job. The only thing that I don’t think I nailed was the green; it seems a little dark and (as I mentioned elsewhere on this blog) is reminiscent of Dark Angels. Except I haven’t modelled a hand bag for him.

Now I just have to get the bugger to the man with the plan
