Arcanacon 2012 – Day Two

Chaos Obliterators

Day two dawned. That’s the best I can do. After a LONG and disturbingly hot day locked in the gyms (blessings of Nurgle abounded!) playing toy soldiers, I was only mildly excited to be going back for more. Continue reading »

Arcanacon 2012 Live – Round Three

Round Three and the CBFs cut in big time. The gym is hot and still. My opponent was a Necron player; I’m yet to face the new Necron codex, so was nervous. Joleen, my opponent, was very much the same as me gamewise. Walked away holding one objective and contesting the other; so a win for me. At the end of day one, two losses and a win. This was about what I expected, 5 + 7 + 18 points.

Arcanacon 2012 Live – Round Two

Round Two sees me face off against Alex Game’s Nurgle marines. Unlike me, he thought about his army. Daemon Prince with wings and Warp Time and lotsa Rhinos to move troops around. This was an objective grab and I was tabled at the end of turn four.

Arcanacon 2012 Live – Round One

Fond One was against Kane Tucker’s Orks. Six Killer Kans, two Dreadnoughts, Ghaz and Snikrot. I was tabled in the sixth turn. Typhus badly under performed!
